About This Session
Cloud Foundry (http://cloudfoundry.org) is the open platform (http://github.com/cloudfoundry) as a service project initiated by VMware. It supports multiple frameworks, multiple languages, multiple cloud providers, and multiple application services all on a cloud scale platform. Currently, it includes support for Spring, Grails, Lift, Clojurre, Rail, Sinatra, node.js frameworks; Java; Scala, Groovy; Ruby, JavaScript as languages; and MySQL, Postgres, Mongo, Redis, and RabbitMQ as services. Multiple partners have implemented their cloud on top of Cloud Foundry to support additional languages and frameworks such as Python and PHP. Furthermore, it also support Micro Cloud Foundry to allow developers to creare their own mini-cloud. In this session, we will explore architecture behind Cloud Foundry and run several live demos.Time: 3:30 PM Saturday Room: 8338
