About This Session
The Scala programming language gives developers the safety of a modern, statically-typed, object/functional language, but with development speed and flexibility similar to that of dynamic languages. Play 2.0 is a new web application framework that harnesses the Scala language to enable you to create high-performance, scalable, modern web applications with ease. In this session, we'll dive in to play, walking through the framework and discussing our experience using it in production, including at FortyTwo.
